<Poem>
<End Poem>
<Translation>
Who can sigh because time's light wanes?
Why worry or grieve at poverty?
Occasionally we become oblivious
Of what presses immediately upon our lives,
When old friends rise in memory before our eyes.
No associations for power
To erase the thought of good friends of our youth,
Nor do we lose kinship with relatives by marriage.
What delights me most?
It is simply that our two families
Have fulfilled their marital obligations
So at last we can feel free,
Like that ancient of Han Hsiang P'ing.
